Second Place Raffle Ticket Winner Christina Guertz (left) is presented with the second place raffle prize, an original Popo Cosby watercolor or a large mouth bass by Aquarium at Rockport Harbor Vice President Pat Davis. , May 1, 2011.  Christina is a marine biology student at TAMU Galveston, preparing to graduate later this month.  She has just returned from Puerto Rico on a whale research project and dropped by the nautical flea Market for a little R&R.

 The raffle, which is becoming an annual affair is the primary fundraiser put on by the Aquarium.  This year more than $1225 was raised with the sale of tickets.  The raffle drawing is done at the end of the Nautical Flea Market (where the Aquarium raised more than $900 in sales).

First place winner (fishing trip for four provided by Pirates of the Bay, Captain Doug Stanford) went to Elaine Wosling of Robstown

Third place winner (one-of-a-kind pendant by Ruben Villareal-Aiken, owner of Sazon's, depicting a Kemp Ridley sea turtle on one side and a Spanish Doubloon on the other in silver) was Jeff Rutledge of Stockdale

Fourth place winner ($100 gift certificate to Key Allegro Yacht Club) was Teresa Hexiner of Gonzales

Fifth place winner (basket filled with different wines, provided by the Realtors  of Key Allegro Real Estate) was Gail Cruz of Rockport

Sixth place winner ($25 gift certificate provided by Tackle Town) was Max Heatherington  of Rockport.
